Location:  Westboro MA Office

Responsibilities

 Overview:

Provide technical and administrative support for the Director of Safety Compliance & Risk Management who oversees the System Management System, Safety, and Compliance Departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a variety of reports and conduct basic analysis using PC and mainframe programs.
  • Assist Staff in updating of internal programs as warranted due to regulatory developments, compliance evaluations and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Actively seek and incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders related to performance and support.
  • Develop and maintain service-focused working relationships with Operations partners.
  • Support Damage Prevention and OQ initiatives for Compliance Department.
  • Responsible for departmental data base development and support including Data Conversion/Maintenance/Analysis.
  • Handle Special Project Assignments (Design, Development, Training, Support).
  • Administer special invoicing & budget tracking.
  • Handle Supply Ordering/Purchasing Card Management/Account Codes associated tasks.
  • Administrator for various support items such as: Emergency Notification System; Emergency Manuals; Distribution Lists (various).
Qualifications

Key Work Experience / Education

Required for selection:

  • 3 years of administrative support experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with complex programs and projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred for selection:
  • Associate degree or higher in business administration or technical field.
  • Prior work experience in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Previous experience working in utility industry.

Technical/Functional Competencies

Required for selection:

  • Broad knowledge & experience in operations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Demonstrated skills in preparing spreadsheets, reports and presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational & planning skills.  

Preferred for selection:

  • Experience with Lotus Notes mail and database functions.
  • Working knowledge of operations support systems.(e.g. Workbrain, Expense
  • Reporting System, Work Management, CIS, etc.).
