Purpose: ¿

The IT Analyst Job Family, Service Governance, is responsible for the administration practices and procedures associated with the management of outsourced IT service provider contracts. This position reviews service provider proposals, identifies disparities and resolves basic issues with the service provider. The position also monitors outsourced IT service provider performance and compliance against contracts, identifies variances, and recommends corrective actions. This position may perform audits to ensure contract compliance and performance, and also collaborates with Corporate Finance to perform the analysis and reporting of the financial aspects of these services including value, trending, benchmarking and cost allocations across the business segments. ¿

The IT Analyst, Service Governance will facilitate input from legal resources to provide enterprise level direction on IT outsourced service provider contract relationships, scope, definition, implementation and compliance. ¿

This position is responsible for administration and assigned tasks related to: ¿

  • Currency of IT service provider contracts, including amendments, changes, updates, contract documentation, and archival of contracts ¿
  • Interpretation of IT service provider contracts for company executives and management ¿
  • Audit notifications to IT service providers as related to the delivery of services ¿
  • Issue management processes related to service provider contract compliance and quality ¿
  • Order processing for any project requests and any contract change for new services related to outsourced service provider contracts ¿
  • Contract compliance reviews for deliverables and obligations related to outsourced service provider agreements ¿
  • Key IT supplier segmentation efforts based on company criticality model of strategic, leverage, collaboration and transactional suppliers ¿
  • Administration of the outsource service provider governance model based on governance disciplines of relationship, performance, contract and financials ¿
  • Facilitation of cross technology tower risk/issue reviews and disputes ¿

  • Timely and accurate IT service provider contract amendments, changes, updates and associated documentation and archival ¿
  • Timely and accurate interpretation and response regarding IT service provider contract and compliance matters ¿
  • Timely and accurate audit notifications to IT service providers ¿
  • Timely and accurate issue resolution process for IT service provider contract related issues ¿
  • Timely and accurate IT service provider orders for new projects ¿
  • Timely and accurate contract changes for new IT services ¿
  • Timely and accurate compliance reviews related to deliverables and obligations pertaining to IT service provider contracts ¿
  • Timely and accurate key IT supplier segmentation efforts based on strategic, leverage, collaboration and transactional type suppliers ¿
  • Successful delivery of IT Services per agreed to SLAs/OLAs and/or dispute resolution ¿
  • Work closely with the Manager, Service Governance and team in developing and ensuring the maintenance of financial, service tracking and reporting methodologies ¿
  • Work closely with the finance professionals to help determine monthly performance credits / penalties associated with a specific service provider ¿
  • Collect data and perform analysis related to changes of IT service provider contracts and contract documentation, including new project orders ¿
  • Collect data and perform analysis related to compliance with all applicable regulatory, internal and external audit requirements ¿
  • Collect data and perform analysis related to critical issues and disputes between company and IT service providers ¿
  • Perform analysis related to IT service provider contract interpretations & responses regarding specific service contract and compliance matters ¿
  • Collect data, perform analysis and participate in continuous improvement efforts including studies, recommendations, and implementation of improvements ¿
  • Maintain understanding of company compliance, audit policies, procedures, and practices ¿
  • Maintain basic knowledge of the service provider contracts and pertinent schedules/exhibits ¿
  • Participate as IT Supplier Management representative in cross-disciplined teams ¿
  • Collect data and perform analysis related to Service provider performance to ensure delivery of IT services per defined SLAs ¿
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of RU reports to technology tower leads. Facilitates cross tower review of consolidated RU reports prior to submission to Corporate Finance ¿
  • Oversees, manages, reports and monitors the delivery of integrated IT solutions per defined SLA's and OLA's.¿
  • Ensure Service Provider contract staffing compliance through audit, validation and remediation, including: personnel projection matrices, vacancy percentages, subcontractor percentages, and On-Shore vs Off-Shore staffing requirements

Breadth: ¿

This position is a professional level role and provides administration for one or more outsourcing engagements that range in size, complexity and contract duration. This role functions, somewhat independently, under general direction of managers or directors and generally follows documented procedures and checklists. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, highly motivated, able to work independently, and strong communication skills, with a passion for excellence. ¿

Lead Analyst: ¿

  • 6+ years of IT or contract management experience/ Software Asset Management / Audit and Compliance experience¿
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience ¿
  • Experience in outsourced environments and working with legal counsel ¿
  • Advanced skills with computers, MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Visio ¿
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly ¿
  • Excellent analytical abilities, including process analysis and development, data analysis, and problem solving ¿
  • Ability to assess a situation based on data and negotiate a fair outcome supported by our contract¿
  • Ability to assist in development of other team members ¿
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific regulatory requirements (i.e., SOX, FERC, State and Federal, etc.) ¿
  • Ability to develop and sustain solid working relationships with stakeholders across departments and vendors. Strong collaboration, negotiation, communication, organization, people management, and conflict resolution skills. ¿

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or ITIL certification preferred ¿
  • IT operational/functional knowledge¿
