Job Description

Responsibilities

 DEFINITION:

This position includes a wide variety of tasks related to resource deployment issues.  These tasks include performing a variety of decision making administrative duties related to the coordination and preparation of work to be scheduled in the field, including emergency response for all operating areas within CMA.  This person will create, process and reconcile all necessary records related to the processing of invoices, work, permits, Dig Safe and compliance reports.  This person will also require direct interaction and strong distribution, service, metering and pipefitting experience in dealing with Integration Center Personnel, field personnel, operations Leadership, other departments including the Columbus Integration Center and local officials.  This person will also assist the Integration Center Leadership Team in the daily organization of IC work.  This position also requires cross training between Distribution, Service/Meter and Construction Maintenance Departments.  This person must be able to investigate problems and determine proper actions within policy, whether it be company policy or policy determined by the regulatory agencies.  Must be able to identify training needs and performance issues and recommend plans to address these needs.  This person will provide training as needed to enhance the skill level of the resource deployment administrative clerks. This person will support the Integration Staff as business conditions warrant and serve as a subject matter expert to the Integration Center team.

 This position will work as directed by the Department Leadership Team.

Qualifications

 QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: 

High school or equivalent, plus office procedures.

Experience:          

Five years current resource deployment experience.

Knowledge of DPU and DOT compliance regulations.

Personal computer knowledge, including WMS, EXCEL, WORD, CIS, COGNOS, Network Express, SLR, Catalyst, Erhtnet.

Knowledge and strong understanding of collective bargaining contracts and work practices.

Performance:  

Demonstrated competence in handling complex work assignments.

Demonstrated ability to handle personal contacts with ordinary tact and                              discretion.

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize and organize work.

Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records.

Demonstrated ability to make judgments and choose appropriate  action with minimum supervision.

Demonstrated ability to apply rules and procedures to varied types of situations.

Possess a positive attitude toward work and employer.

Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.

Must be consistent and punctual and regular in attendance.



Other Information

 WAGE PROGRESSION:

 Eligible for automatic increase to maximum job rate in accordance with Union Agreement.
